This tutorial will show you how to apply a simple vintage photo effect using Photoshop. We’re going to use image adjustments, adjustment layers and layer styles to apply the vintage effect on a regular photo so that we can keep our work easily editable.
Taking photos at parties, or any social event for that matter, can be tricky but fun! In this article, I’ll share some of my most guarded techniques for taking awesome event photos. If you’re in charge of taking photos at your next holiday party, Christmas party, birthday party, office party, or any other type of social event, these tips will hopefully help you get better and more interesting event photography shots.
Certain aspects of photography lends itself so well to design work that it might make you wonder why it isn’t on the list of must-have design skills. Actually, a lot of art and design schools do include a photography component in their programs, and I can see why: because it helps.
After college (about 3 years ago), I bought myself a used camera from a little camera repair shop in London. I paid 40 pounds. It was this manual 35mm film camera from that magical decade, the 80’s. It worked, had a sharp lens, a neck strap, and the old man who sold it to me gave me a free roll of film (which, at the time, sounded like the deal of a lifetime). Come on! Free film!
